How to get to us

Find us on Google Maps.

Berlevåg (BVG), 35 km by road, is our nearest airport (a small airport served only by Widerø). To fly to Berlevåg you need to fly via Tromsø (TOS) or via Kirkenes (KKN). Booking a through ticket to BVG can be quite expensive. It is usually cheaper if you book your flight to BVG separately. In any case, the flight to BVG involves several ‘technical stops’ as the small planes serve a number of villages along the coast.

Kirkenes (KKN) is the regional airport served by several airlines. e.g. Norwegian and SAS Braathens, located ca. 4 hours drive from Kongsfjord or 11 hours by Hurtigruten (the postship travelling along the Norwegian coast). You can fly to Kirkenes with SAS or Norwegian via Oslo.

Taking the postship (Hurtigruten): The ship leaves Kirkenes daily for Berlevåg at 12.45 hrs arriving in BVG at 22.30 hrs the same day. Hurtigruten depart Berlevåg daily at 22.45 hrs to arrive in Kirkenes at 9.45 the following day.
You need to allow at least 1 hour for transfer between airport and quay. Tickets can be obtained from us.

Ivalo is the regional airport in north Finland, served only by Finnair, ca. 5 hours drive to Kongsfjord.

Car Rental
in Kirkenes or in Ivalo (e.g. Avis, Hertz), Berlevåg has only very limited car rental facilities.
We can offer transfer from/ to Berlevåg with our own car for small groups of up to 5 persons. For larger groups we can organise bus transfer.
